Florida has been part of our family for three generations. My grandmother fell in love with it first, and that love was passed down to my mother, who spent her time finding any excuse to get back to the beach. She shared with us her deep love for the Florida sunshine, Bird of Paradise flowers, and saltwater days, long before I ever understood why this place held both her heart and my grandmother's so completely.

Then, without warning, our world flipped upside down. There was no time to prepare, no chance to say the things you always assume you'd have more time to say. No one last hug.

What Mom left behind wasn't a plan or a set of instructions. What we had was memories, and an unmistakable love for a place that had now shaped four generations of our family.

We could have let that love stay a private thing, something we carried quietly and visited on our own. But my husband and I have a deep faith, and we believe that when you've been given something as full and as beautiful as what my mother and grandmother gave us, you're meant to share it.

Saltwater Siesta was born from my mother's spirit. It's inspired by her and built for you, for families and friends to reconnect, relax, and return to what matters most. This home isn't just for us, and it never has been. It's a continuation of a story that started long before we were born, one we now get to share with every family who walks through our door.
